For more than forty years, Roweanne Builders has been building and renovating homes in Shepparton. In that time, the town has changed, building standards have changed, and the way families use their homes has changed. What hasn’t changed is how we work: turn up, do it properly, and stand behind it.

Four Decades of Shepparton Homes

We started out in 1985 doing small extensions, builds and repairs for local families. Since then we’ve worked on hundreds of homes across Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley, from post-war weatherboards and solid brick homes through to new builds. We’ve renovated houses we first worked on twenty years ago, and we’ve built for the children of clients we started with.

That kind of history isn’t a marketing line. It’s the reason we know what’s behind the walls of an older Shepparton home before we open them up, why certain materials don’t last in our summers, and how long council approvals actually take here. Experience like that only comes from staying in one place and doing the work.

Family-Run, Locally Accountable

Roweanne Builders is family-run and Shepparton-based. Our directors are on site and on the phone, not behind a call centre. When you ring, you speak to a builder, usually Gavin.

That accountability matters more in a town like this. Our work is spread across streets we drive down every week, and our reputation is built on what neighbours tell each other. There’s nowhere to hide from a bad job in Shepparton, and we’ve never needed one.

What We Build

We take on kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations and ensuite additions, home extensions, full home renovations, structural alterations, knock down rebuilds, and government housing upgrades.

Many of our clients are couples with older children, empty nesters, and retirees setting their home up for the next stage of life. Often the house is fine, but it no longer fits how they live. We take the time to understand that before we quote anything.

Roweanne Builders is fully licensed (CRN CBD-U 62326) and insured, and we’re members of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) and the Association of Professional Builders (APB). We’re also trusted with government housing upgrades, work that carries strict compliance, safety, and reporting standards.
